Compiler is a platform for the production and presentation of new media art and dialogue. Led by Tanya Boyarkina, Oscar Cass-Darweish and Eleanor Chownsmith, the group’s artistic and curatorial practice investigates the socio-political challenges raised by digital culture.
Through their cross-disciplinary programme of exhibitions, workshops, discussions, performances, and screenings, Compiler aims to support collaborative, process-driven projects, which connect artists and audiences. These networks of knowledge-exchange are threaded together with theoretical discourse aiming to reconsider the links between academic, artistic and social practice. Compiler explores the possibilities of digital art and curation as a process of discovering the synaesthetic experience of technology. Expanding the possibilities of the senses, afforded by our collaboration with technical objects and the virtual worlds.
